Dr. Megan Slocum has worked as a teacher, principal, Superintendent, and is currently the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for the Springdale School District in Northwest Arkansas. She also helps maintain the Springdale Public Schools YouTube channel.
Megan is passionate about serving students and parents to help all learners achieve their potential each day. She was awarded the Arkansas Rural Education Superintendent of the Year in 2013 and has served as Assistant Commissioner of Education for the Arkansas Department of Education. In her spare time, Megan also serves on the Northwest Arkansas Board for the March of Dimes, City of Springdale Leadership Team, and the Health Advisory Council.

Chanie Wilschanski is an early childhood strategist and leadership coach and works with Early Childhood directors to help them build schools that make a bigger impact through creating a collaborative culture, parent relationships, and teachers as leaders! Chanie began her teaching career as an early childhood educator, spending eight years teaching infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. While teaching in Manhattan’s highly innovative and acclaimed Preschool of the Arts, she began to develop her vision of a creative, progressive and revolutionary path in early education.
In 2013, Chanie took a break from her teaching to pursue higher studies at Mercy College where she received her Masters in Special Education and Early Childhood. In 2014, using her training and creative talents, Chanie developed, wrote and published a curriculum support book for the early childhood classroom that has sold hundreds of copies!
As a busy mother of three children and director of the early childhood program at the Beis Rivkah Seminary in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY, Chanie still makes it a point to read two books a week on leadership, school cultures, mindset, and early childhood and then instantly apply what she's learning in her own home.

He moderates #caeedchat on Sunday evenings from 8-9pm PST on Twitter, runs a site called Would You Rather? which is dedicated to getting students talking about math. During recent summers, John has had the honor of presenting at CUE Rockstar events in California and various technology and math conferences. John blogs at fishing4tech.com. His latest adventure has led him into the world of 3D-printing, designing lesson plans and curricula for AirWolf3D. John loves to encourage a risk-taking environment for students, staff, and school leadership and is dedicated to finding ways for educational leaders to put the direction of learning into the hands of students.

Dr. Beth Russell has been in education for 28 years. Prior to entering the field of education, Beth was a social worker working with children on emotional and behavioral challenges in treatment foster care. Beth is the former principal of South View Middle School in a suburb of Minneapolis. She holds a BS in child development and family relations from Colorado State University, a master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota, and a doctorate in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota. Beth has worked in both urban and suburban school systems introducing type. Coauthor of Differentiated School Leadership and several articles for education publications, she views type theory as a vehicle for helping students self-advocate for how they learn best and helping teachers identify new strategies so that all students can learn. She has presented at NSDC, World Futures, ASCD (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), and National Urban Alliance conferences. She has participated in the National Institute for School Leadership, trained at the Institute for Learning at the University of Pittsburgh, and directed the Minneapolis Public Schools in implementing a comprehensive framework for teaching and learning. Beth volunteers as an assessor for the University of St. Thomas Principal Assessment Center and provides peer reviews for educational books for Free Spirit Publishing.
