Eric Ewald is going into his fifth year as an elementary school principal and this will be his first year as building principal at James Van Allen Elementary, a PK-6th grade school that is a part of the Iowa City Community School District. Prior to becoming a principal, Eric was a School Administration Manager and prior to that he taught 6th grade Language Arts. His wife is a first grade teacher and his son is getting ready to start kindergarten, which gives him a whole new perspective in his role as a school administrator.

Bill Powers is entering his 8th year as Lead Learner at Cherokee Middle School in Springfield, Missouri, his 16th year in education, and he is currently pursuing his Doctorate (EdD) in Educational Leadership. Bill is a native of Tennessee and a co-organizer of #EdCampSGF. Bill has an interesting career path and actually started his career as a sports journalist before becoming an educator.

Jeremy Adams is a high school teacher, college professor, author, and frequent educational speaker from Bakersfield, California. In April of this year, Rowman & Littlefield published his second book, The Secrets of Timeless Teachers: Instruction that Works in Every Generation. He is the recipient of the 2014 California Teacher of the Year Award from The Daughters of the American Revolution and was a 2013 semi-finalist for the CA Department of education Teacher of the Year Program. Dr. Ryan B. Jackson recently accepted a position as the Executive Principal of Mount Pleasant High School in Mount Pleasant, TN and was previously an assistant principal in an inner-city high school located in Nashville, TN. Before serving in a leadership role, Jackson was a high school English teacher, where he started his school’s first AP Language & Composition program and revived a student-centered, student-produced school newspaper.
