Penny Sturtevant is in her 30th year as an educator and her 9th year as an administrator. She has worn many different hats along the way, including 1 year as a special needs teacher to mental health students in an institutional setting, a 7-12th grade science teacher in a small rural school, and as a school counselor for 14 years. In her time as an administrator, Penny has been a secondary assistant principal, a middle school principal, and currently serves as a career readiness Coordinator for her district. Penny is married to a social studies teacher, James Sturtevant, and together they have three children, one grandchild and one on the way. Penny is passionate about helping students and staff achieve success.
